My Bad Dream
Bad Dreams are scary and sometimes they’re real when you are older. You never know when you realize that you’re lost in transit. It is a bad feeling when you play around in the supermarket and lose sight of your parents.
In my dream, we were going grocery shopping in the supermarket. Suddenly, three gangsters came out of the muesli bar aisle. They kidnapped me. My Mum and Brother didn’t even notice. After the supermarket was closed I was still trapped inside. The three gangsters were shoplifting the food. They tied my hands with a rope and put tape on my mouth, so I wouldn’t scream. Some kids were tied up beside me but I saw my friends outside the supermarket. One of the kids' names was Frank. The three gangsters let Frank have a chance that they would serve them. Frank was with the three gangsters then he had an idea. Frank untied the rope and removed the tape. It hurt my skin a little bit. There was a lever near the grocery store, but I couldn’t reach it. Frank reached the lever and pulled it. The grocery store was open. I got out as quickly as I can. Frank showed his kung fu moves to defeat the three gangsters. Once, the three gangsters had been defeated, He decided to follow me. I asked one little girl “Do you know where my home is”. She pointed her finger and said, “It’s there over the hill”.
When you have a bad dream or nightmare you have to learn something from it. It might get very frightening if you have bad dreams.

My Holiday Recount
Hook
I had a good time in Orewa Park. It was hot in Orewa Park, and many children were playing. I felt really hot there but it's fine.
Orientation
On Saturday afternoon, we got out of the car, and we looked for a table and some seats. We wore Crocs on the way to the beach, but we didn’t wear them. My Dad told me that we had to go in bare feet. The playground was very cool, I got on the tyres that could move anti-clockwise and clockwise. A man got the tyre and turned it around, it was fun I thought. This time my Dad spun me around, he was very fast. I walked to the beach and there were so many people and the dogs were barking. I walked slowly so no sand could get into my shoes. My brother saw me and told me to look for something in the playground, but I didn’t care. We hopped on the tyres and someone turned it around. I went to the swings and a teenager pushed the swing, so high that I could touch a tree. This time my brother hopped on the swing, and a different teenager pushed the swing higher than the other teenager. My Dad called me to eat lunch, it was Chicken Biryani and three pieces of naan bread. These were my favourite Sri Lankan foods. My brother didn’t like it because it was spicy. I liked the Chicken because it was delicious. I rested for a few minutes so I wouldn’t vomit. I went to the slide it was very dirty so I slid down it carefully. I went to the swing again, this time somebody came there and it wasn’t my brother. He was a boy and I didn’t know his name. The boy was friendly towards me.
Conclusion
My Parents told me we had to go to my uncle’s house because it was near Orewa Beach. We had fun there, I wish we could go there again. It could be really cool if my friend Keyon came with me and saw the amazing view. Keyon could see the park and the beach.
